Amanda Headly

Amanda Headley was raised primarily in Houston, Texas, where she grew up surrounded by a vibrant immigrant community that shaped her lifelong passion for immigration law. A fluent Spanish speaker and current student of Portuguese, Amanda first discovered her calling when she helped family members file immigrant visa petitions—a personal experience that inspired her commitment to serve others navigating the U.S. immigration system.

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi as part of the Croft Institute for International Studies, a selective program emphasizing global engagement and cross-cultural understanding. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She participated in a study abroad program in Santiago, Chile for both her undergraduate degree and law school. Amanda also lived in Mexico where she worked for a children’s home dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking.

Since 2009, Amanda has practiced immigration law in a variety of settings, including her own firm and the nonprofit organization RAICES, where she represented unaccompanied children in immigration proceedings. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply dedicated to defending the rights of immigrants and advancing the values of a multicultural society.

Amanda joined Landerholm Immigration, A.P.C. in July 2025 as Of Counsel. She lives in the Austin area with her husband and children and enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with a good game or jigsaw puzzle.
