Silvia Fernandez-Kirk – Case Manager
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina and received my law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. I specialized in business law and worked for over 10 years in the Financial Sector.
When I met my husband and when I became the mother of a beautiful boy, I never imagined my life would change so drastically, since moving out of my country was not part of the original plan. My husband decided it was time to come back to the States, where he grew up, in search of better opportunities for our family. We moved as a family because the most important thing was for us to stay together.
At first, I became involved in immigration law in order to apply for my own adjustment of status. Then I started to volunteer in different organizations in the Bay Area that provided legal services for immigrants. The more I got to know the immigrant community, the more I wanted to advocate on their behalf. Being an immigrant myself, I understand their needs and struggles.
Prior to joining Landerhom Immigration, APC. I assisted the low income community in my work at La Raza Centro Legal in San Francisco, where I became a Board of Immigration Partially Accredited Representative.
In my spare time, I enjoy different activities like jewelry making and furniture restoration. My family and I enjoy riding our bikes in the beautiful places that the Bay Area has to offer.
