Notice to Appear
Bay Area Attorneys dedicated to Deportation Defense
The Notice to Appear = the charging document
The Notice to Appear is arguably the most important document in your entire deportation case. It is the document that US Immigration officials file to the court to allege that you are “deportable” or “removable” under the law.
If you receive this document, do not panic! Call a trustworthy attorney and schedule a consultation.
You will want to take this document to your consultation and you will want your attorney to explain three things:
- Whether or not the allegations on the NTA are accurate,
- What strategy you would use to accept or deny the charge or charges of removability, and
- If you are removable, what would be your best strategy for immigration relief.
Please call our office to schedule this consultation and to go over the NTA with an attorney today!
